The Quran encourages giving of Qardan Hasana and promises multiple rewards to the giver in the above verses.

Ezzi Qardan Hasana Trust (Marol) has been long established with the object of promoting, propagating, fostering and implementing the concept of giving Qardan Hasana among the mumineen of Saifee Park, Marol.

Qardan Hasana (a good loan – a loan without Interest) is an Azeem Nemat bestowed upon us by Allah Ta’ala. The Holy Quran repeatedly warns us against the evils of Riba (Interest) and lays emphasis upon giving of Loans without Interest familiarly known as “Qardan Hasana” in many verses.;

The objects of Qardan Hasana are as follows:-

  • To promote, propagate, foster and implement the concept of Qardan Hasana.

  • To grant or give as Qardan Hasana for the Relief of Poverty, Medical purposes and for general public utility.

  • To establish and organize other supportive and relative Qardan Hasana Schemes for benefit of mumeneen

Based on the Quranic dictates against riba, Syedna Mohammed Burhanuddin Saheb (TUS), Leader of the Dawoodi Bohra Community, is the first person in Islamic history to give a clarion call to shun interest in any and all circumstances.

Syedna Saheb TUS (Aqa Moula) has repeatedly encouraged, ordained, guided and advised mumineen to give Qardan Hasana individually and through institutions.

Syedna Saheb (TUS) institutionalized the Qardan Hasana concept by establishing Ezzi Qardan Hasana Trust (Marol).
